Anyone know the deadtime for the stock 450cc and denso 720cc? I'm using the emanage ultimate and trying to get the injector correction working and I need to input the stock deadtime and new injector deadtime. I've searched but can't find what i'm looking for.
Thanks for any help!

John

dead time is 450 microseconds, and injector compensation should be at -38%

Well I found this, but still can't find the stock 450's

Mfg. Size dead time (ms)
FIC 650 210
FIC 750 315-330
FIC 850 315-330
FIC 950 315-330
Delphi 680 210
ND 660 180
RC 550 180
Hahn 625 180
Denso 660 180
Denso 720 405-450
PTE 680 288
PTE 780 300

Deadtime for the stock 450's is irrelevant. The deadtime value that you see for different injectors is simply the number that the ecu adds to its set deadtime for the stock 450cc injectors. Knowing the stock deadtime wouldn't mean anything.

Anyways, deadtime values can be different from car to car, even with the same size/style fuel injectors (this is because of other factors that affect fuel delivery). Therefore, it's best to start with the general accepted deadtime value for your specific injectors and then change it based on your fuel trim values. There is a nice big explanation on all this on the dsmlink website under Downloads.

EDIT>> Sorry, I just realized you were using emanage and that it requires the stock 450cc deadtime value. I won't comment on what I think about emanage, but here email this guy Tom and ask him because I'm positive he can help you. Those guys know the stock dsm ecu like the back of their hands ;)

That chart you found up there is the ammount of time ADDED to stock deadtime. The deadtime value in the ECU shows that stock 450cc injectors have 765 ms deadtime at 13 volts.

The 510cc deadtime is almost exactly the same as the 450's, just slightly higher:
4.7 - 4056uS
7.0 - 1944uS
9.4 - 1272uS
11.7 - 912uS
14.1 - 696uS
16.4 - 576uS
18.8 - 480uS
