Injector question

I've been running 550CC injectors on my daily driver for a while, I have it currently running a 20PSI spike un-tuned and nothing bad has yet happened, it seems to be running fine. Now this is where I come into a problem, lately its not getting enough fuel so its misfiring, I popped in the stock 450s and it runs well once more. I was wondering if 20PSI untuned on 450s is safe or if I run a high risk of putting a rod through the block. Its running a spike because of my exhaust, do I need to fix this (there's a space between the O2 housing and the downpipe that permits quite a bit of exhaust to leak through.)

Yes you want to fix that dont run more then 14psi on a stock fuel system how were you controling 550's?You just popped them in?If you did you need to get something to tune with and a widband and then watch your afr's and tune it.Dont run that much boost till you have supporting mods...

20 pounds of boost on pump gas with no tune... and then you "popped in" your stock injectors. I am surprised your car is still in one piece. Running that much boost, especially with stock intercooler would give grounds to some serious detonation. It will quickly destroy your engine, if haven't already. Turn down the boost to 14-15 psi and get a SAFC or DSMLink to tune it with. Trust me, DSMLink will be the best money you have ever spent on your car.

I'm running an Ebay FMI, a 16G turbo, 255 fuel pump and 264 cams on the Talon. I've spent more time on my 92 GSX than anything, tuning/mods have all gone in that car instead of the 2G, the Talon is just something I drive/race for fun. Hopefully the engine doesn't have much damage done to it. I'll try to get it a AFC neo from Ebay for cheap, if I cant find one I'll just get DSM link like I did with the GSX .
