from what ive read im pretty sure the stock n/t 4g63 injectors on the 1g's are 275cc or so. everyone says to swap out to turbo injectors from either a auto tsi or the 450cc blue tops. now the turbo injectors are low inpedence and require you to swap in a resdistor pack

i found rceng.com sells custom made injectors for $80 each. could i just go and order a set of 390cc or 450cc high impedenece injectors and not have to worry abtou swappgin in the resistor pack, or would swappign in the pack be the best idea. thanx a lot

here is the specs of there high impedence injectors and there lo9w inpedence injectors. which would be better for my n/a application

HIGH RESISTANCE Approx. 12 - 16 OHMS (MEASURED AT 43 P.S.I.G.)

LOW RESISTANCE - 2.5 / 3 OHMS (MEASURED AT 43 P.S.I.G.)

i can get the high impedence in 370cc and 440cc the low impedence injectors if i have to use them ill just go either 390cc auto injectors or 450cc blue tops.

NOTE: i allready have 450cc blue tops in front of me. thats if my prefered method

It's really not hard to wire in the resistor pack. I did it last winter and it only took like a half hour and that was my first time doing it. I would save your money for other things and use the 450's you've got. I'm pretty sure there is even a vfaq on this as well.

any one else got diagrams or links to vfaq. i couldnt find it and this has been buggin me bad. id liek to see what involved in this

Why are you putting these on a n/a car? Do you have alot done to it to need these injectors? If so do you have any sort of fuel control?

What involved is cutting the power feed wires from the injector and rewiring them to the resistor pack. There are 4 resistors in the pack, one for each injector and one common power feed tha you connector that you connect to any or all the the old power feeds to the injectors.

There are differences in the ECU injector circuit for the low impedance injectors but people seem to run without changing those parts.

Well, if he's got stock DSM 450's all he needs is the stock resistor pack.

I dont know if you've figured it out or not yet but if you haven't found a vfaq on this yet and that link didn't help. Just cut into the harness in it's main section below and to the left of the DSM tag on the firewall and start digging for the yellow wires with the stripes. There's something like a yellow w/ red, w/ green, w/ brown and w/ black stripes I think. If you doubt it, just look at the injector plugs and you see the yellow wires you need. Then all you do is T the resistor packs wires into the harness wires in no particular order wrap the harness back up and mount the pack to the existing holes on the firewall if you haven't already done so. All done. Now, do you have a means of compensation?

im actually building a n/a motor this winter that will have everythign and anythign doen to it. i had a plan for one last winter btu things got rough and my car broke bad so i sold everythign. im getting another 90 eclipse 2.0 n/a car and im droppgin another motor in it.

yes i have stock dsm injectors. i have 90- gst blue top injectors that are in great shape. i have a bunch of little stuff for it and the basis of the motor build in my garage. i have the block water pump and a few other things but im gonna tear into that block soon after i get this car. i had a freidn die and a bunch of other bs happen so it delayed me gettin the car.

heres what i have planned for hti smotor so far.

crower sevre race cams
1mm valves
mad springs
ross 10:0:1 pistons form magnus
eagle rods
cleavitte bearings
total seal gapless rings
findanza flywheel
the head porting i am workign on to figure out a good setup
coil on plug ignition
maft translator setup w/custom intake
75mm tb
150 shot dirrect port zex setup
zex ejector air mplifier stup
magnus of forrester manifold
aeromotive feul rail
afpr
walbro 190lh pump
450cc injectors

thats what i have in mind so far. still doing a little bit of math and such figuring out if itll all run smooth. lemme know what you think, no matter what im building this motor over this winter and i will find a way to make it work.my last one was just abotu to get put together and woulda been a 11:0:1 2.3L stroker motor. lemme knwo what you guys thing

If this going to be N/A isnt the aeromotive fuel rail a little much? Stock fuel rail should be good enough to handle all this.

i could. i could get the adapters and all and run the -6 an lines. think -6 an is to much. should i just stick with the stock size but stainless?
