i bought some indiglo gauges from ebay and the directions are kinda confusing... i'm not sure if i'm suppose to remove the original gauges first before i place in the indiglo gauges.. .or am i suppose to just put the indiglo gauges over the original?

what about the wires from all four gauges? do i make my own 4 holes to connect to the external power control?

You shouldent hafto do any cutting at all. You take the new gauge faces and slide them over the needle and on top of the old faces. I wouldent recommend taking the needles off, Slip them over the needles. You shouldent be able to see the wires once you put the gauge bezel back on, I ran my wires to one side pressed the gauge bezel back onto the gauge cluster, It fit. Once you get them on, And go to put them in the car. You should see how it needs to be done then.

Unscrew gauge cluster (2 screws), pull off from dash.

Take off plastic cover

Using double sided tape, attach indiglo gauges overlay. Be careful of the needles, slip the overlay carefully!

make small notches on side of the gauge cluster for the wires, i used a file to cut little indentations on the cluster. Attach the plastic cover, but be sure to clean it first.

route the wires towards the back of the dash, and then push the gauge cluster into your dash till it clicks into place.

Connect the indiglo gauge power cord to a switched 12v source so that it will only turn on when you click your lights. I tapped on then using wiretaps from Radioschack.

Turn on your lights and see if you wired it correctly.

how do i find the 12v power source that's connected to the headlight switch? my control will be mounted on the left side of the gauges so there are a group of wires there i can tap into when i take out the plastic panel but i'm not sure which wire to use...

green w/ white is the the praking lead, and balck with red spots on it is ground, or just screw it to the metal under the dash, any more problems refer to your chilton's wire diagram.
