They say they don't mandrel bend anything, and that nobody will mandrel bend 3.5"/4" pipe, period.

bah.

anyone who knows anyone in central IN who can either mandrel bend 3.5 or purchase pre bent then weld together 3.5" pipe let me know!!

Exhaust is the last thing I have to do before this bad mother will run!!!!

You're not going to find any shop that can just mandrel bend you a pipe that size, nor do you need a 3.5" exhaust.

You'll have to do it like all the people who really need a 3.5" exhaust and buy pre-bent mandrel bends in 3.5" and straight 3.5" and piece it together.

Eric, good place to start is Road race or even try Jc whitney they even carry stainless. Buy the bends and straight pieces and give me a shout if you need it welded.

My names Mike I have a TSI AWD thats crying in my garage from a loose timing belt put on by the previous owner. From South Bend, and as soon as I get her running I'll be cruising that mother everywhere. My roommates got a 99 GST w alot of bolt ons also.

PM me if you love fixing timing belts so I dont have to spend 500 or so to get it fixed at the shop, or if you wanna do like a Northern IN meet or something.

The timing belt isn't all that difficult on the 4g63 to do yourself. Use the vfaq as a guide.

I used to use a threaded rod with a nut welded on the end to compress the tensioner, but I found it was faster to just remove the tensioner and compress it outside of the vehicle.
