Stanford said:Likewise for me. Probably just to watch though. Unless I have a DSM by then, but it's been over a year and I still don't have one. It's getting real old, I have been without mine for almost 2 years now. I miss the boost, I might have to give you a call Kyle just to go for a ride in yours.

1LE said:What do you have now? There's very few events that are really DSM specific
I am getting so sick of no boost I am about 1 second from taking out a loan to by a 1st gen. I just can't save any damn money, but if I owe it to a bank I don't have a choice.Stanford said:Likewise for me. Probably just to watch though. Stanford said:I have a 99 Diamante. Mitsu's "Luxury" car. Even if the event wasn't DSM specific I wouldn't dare AutoX the Diamante. That would be like drag racing a stock Chevette.I am getting so sick of no boost I am about 1 second from taking out a loan to by a 1st gen. You may find that you beat some 1g DSMs... The suspension on the 1g's is so horrible (I've autoxed a '90 FWD 2.0NT and a '92 AWD 2.0T before) that I wouldn't be surprised to see a Diamante beat them!mavisky said:Dig out that video camera and give me a ring, we'll go out messing around. Hopefully the roads will dry out sometime around here, all this rain makes the car almost useless.

I've seen 1970's Cadillacs autox before! Sunbirds, Festiva's, you name it and I've seen it on course before. Don't let your current car be the reason not to autox!
Stanford said:No kidding, I may have to this spring then. Yeah I have read 1g's don't do to great at AutoX but it will be for the Drag strip anyway. I would love to see a 1970's Cadillac running through an AutoX course. I bet that was funny as hell.
Stanford said:Yeah this weather sucks the big one. I have the camera but the damn battery is wasted. So it only works when plugged in an AC outlet. I will see what I can figure out with it, or get a new battery. When the weather gets better or the news says it will I'll give you a ring a couple days in advance. Then we can go do some "spirted" driving.

mavisky said:Any info on where this place is at? Sound very interesting.
The stockers on my car let me down bigtime (sourcing new 2g AWD calipers was interesting... Took a couple months)!Stanford said:I didn't see any open track days or AutoX events listed on the 05 schedule. Do you know if they still have them there?
