Is it possible to increase boost on a stock 2g without a boost controller? I've seen people talking about changing boost levels on cars whose owners didn't mention if they had a boost controller.

of course.......this is also how they end up blowin their turbo....and sometimes other things too. it's a very easy and cheap method costing around a couple of bucks. is it worth it? NO.

alright, I'm planning on buying a new turbo soon and I'll definitly get a boost controller to go with it but for future reference, what's the method

k, lookin @the turbo, locate the wastegate. c how there is a little tube comin out of it? the little tube connects to a little three way thing that on one side goes to the turbo and on the opposite side goes to the Boost Control Solenoid Restrictor(BCS). the line that goes to the BCS is where u can bleed it somehow. the best ways (in my opinion) are to use a fish pump manifold or a bleeder valve. both from the local pet shop for a couple of bucks. i've tried it myself. just beware the ides of march.....oh wait, it aint march.

air is comin out. ok.....c how on the BCS there r two connectors stickin out of it? one goes to the intake and the air from the intake is used to the line that connects to the wastegate. y is it used? b/c the air makes the wastegate open to allow exhaust gases to b exited out of the turbo b4 spinnin the trubine even faster. when u bleed the line, the wastegate will b less likely to open, thus, causing more exhaust gases to spin the turbine faster. the faster it spins on the exhaust side of the turbo, the faster it spins on the intake side. this equals more power/boost. and it also equals an overworked t25. got it?

ok, I'm starting to get it. But it sounds completely uncontrolled which always equals VERY BAD IDEA

it is only controlled by how many valves u decide to open.......so it's not very accurate nor consistent.
