Import car magazines?

Hey all, I was over at Barnes&Nobles reading some books and magazines and a thought came to my attention. Has anyone of you ever been previewed or interviewed in any import magazine? Also how come the DSM community seems to be under estimated alot? Just to elaborate, how come we don't see any tech articles or how to's on the magazines for our vehicles. I was just wondering, just getting annoyed why honda's are always previewed....

were not in those magazines cause we dont have misguided children modding our cars. we dont have people that think you can slap on a turbo and nawss and make 700hp. and besides, all those cars in the magazines are show cars, even though theyre fully built they will never see action cause the driver has spent too much money having other people do the work for him to get his car dirty. and were not in any of those cause none of us rice out our cars enough, they dont feature "stock" looking cars.

Well it seems like we agree on the reason we arent in magz.. cuz we dont rice out our shit as much as honda fellows. Now the problem is.. what up with the NEONS under your car? .. just poking some fun =/

The December 2004 issue of Sport Compact Car has 2 EVOs and a 1G DSM in it. I recommend picking up a copy!

Is available on newsstands now, just be sure to get the December issue as it is brand new and some places still have the November issue out.

I definately second picking up a copy. . .

sport compact car seems to have very good DSM coverage these days.

ah the neons. i have done neons for about 5 years now. i had neons on my 94tbird before F&F and before they were considered rice. when i had them people thought i mustve had some crazy fabrication skills for it, even though the streetglows back then were like 400 bucks for the base series. but back then before that movie they were considered to be something you do to set yourself apart, cause most people wont take the time or have the patience for that sort of mod. but as that movie came out now everyone thinks its rice, i still think its sick as hell. i dont drive with them, but when im parked and were talking about cars on a late night, ill flick them on and the focus is turned towards my car, and not a srt4 or riced civic, theyre looking at the clean ass eclipse with undercars, and OH SHIT, they change colors, oh dang, they can strobe and do the little night rider thingy too.
