whats up? i recently aquired a 94 eclipse (no turbo). a guy sold it to me for 300$ cause he says the motors blown. i work at a garage, but i havent really had a chance to look it over. I was thinking maybe it was just the timing belt, but i checked that and its ok. Then about a week ago my boss told me i could have his eagle talon AWD turbo. i believe its a 92. The body is all messed up on it though and the windshields smashed. The body on the eclipse is near perfect, no rot, and only 2 tiny dents that i can fix myself. What i want to do is take the motor,tranny,turbo, and anything else i need from the talon and put it in the eclipse. What im wondering is why didnt they make the eclipse with AWD turbo? or am i wrong about that? Anyway i have all the tools to do motor and tranny swaps so im good there, but im wondering if anyone can list for me, or point me to a list on this forum of everything else i need to swap. I know i will have to swap the harness and ecu, but im wondering if theres alot of sensors i need to swap or if theres anything else i havent thought of. I have the haynes manual for these cars too but if someone could just help me out on here ide apreciate it. thanks
