im leaking oil some where by the manifoild

Heres the prob im leaking oil some where by the manifoild and im eating oil.. not blowing any smoke what do you think the probb is..??

you own a turbo car to burn a quart between oil changes is about normal even on a fresh rebuild and a brand new turbo.

if you want to see if your motor/turbo is in good shape check the compression they have a device that screws into your sparkplug hole then you open your throttle body all the way unhook your ignition and crank the motor. you do this on all 4 cylinders then if any are bellow um, i don't know what it is for a 1g(i think 150psi) thank it is slightly worn if your highest and lowest are within 10 you are ok. then you should put oil on top of the cylindered that are low and if it raises them alot you have worn piston rings.

to check your turbo, you need to pull off your intake pipe and check you shaft play(moving around of you compressor wheel) if it is real bad your bearing in your turbo are wearing out.

as far as a oil leak if it is on the left (passenger side) of the exhaust manifold than i would guess it is comming from the turbo oil feed line it bolts to the side of the head it is a fairly large BANJO bolt(about a 17mm) and sometimes it leaks and you might want to tighten it but make sure you do it to torque specs because it is bolted into and aluminum head and aluminum is easy to strip.

Btw banjo bolts break fairly easy themselves and can be a challenge to find sometimes.
