Well mt CAT fell of the other day (due to rust and a nasty backfire) and im waiting on my new cat eliminating downpipe. Ok, so, sometimes when i step on it itll stay at my set 10psi thro a whole gear then if i let off throttle and go back on it could hit 10psi for a second and fly to 25psi+. Alright so my question is, is this a small case of boost creep (meaning not big) im only running a downpipe right now (no cat, or catback) so im wondering. Do you think ill have boost creep still after i reattach the catback with a cat eliminating downpipe? Now this whole question pertains to if its a small case or not and that will be the deciding factor for me if i weld a cat onto my downpipe (no time or money to port). Thanks alot guys, i know this is probably a hard question to answer but any help is greatly appreciated.:talon: :dsm:

that sounds more like a spike than creep. Creep is in intervals, where it would reach your full boost (10) and then go to 12, 20, 25--like that.
Welding the cat do a downpipe, or just getting a test pipe wont have much of an effect if any on helping boost spike, or creep. If you have a MBC check that, as well as your intercooler pipes for leaks. A leaky exhaust would explain boost leaks as well, since the turbo runs off of exhaust gases. good luck man.:thumb:
