this is the deal i have a 90 talon awd my factory alarm is driving me crazy it goes off by it self and the only way i can turn it off is by opening my door with the key how can i disable the thing or fix it so is not that sensitive.
anithing will help thanx.

Actually, I don't think that our alarms have a "shock sensor. They are activated by a power surge ang sensors in the doors, the deck lid and the hood. I would check all the connections for those and then get worried. I would start with the hood and deck switches first. Make sure that they work by releasing them with the alarm set and the window down so you can release them. It could just be a faulty switch. If you cant figure it out, just pull the fuse.
