Ignition crossing problems (I think)

Please help fellow dsm enthusiasts, my car does start, and run, but when I lift the hood I can hear a ticking sound that I think is my ignition crossing, and on my A/F guage at cruising speed (60 mph) it reads 10.0- 10.4, plus the car will not build boost until about five and a half thousand RPM (should be 13 but only getting 5 psi) and at that RPM the car will almost feel like the wrong cylinder is firing and the car violently shakes. My turbo is only a BR 16g.

Check the plugs and if the wires are in the right position. What were you doing when this happened?I think you could even have your tune way off. do you have a wideband O2?

I replaced the plugs, checked the wires and i think i have a wideband, but the car was woking better than it is now, i just got it running, and was having some trouble with the boost about mid range RPM (it was like the power would cut out then about 5 thousand RPM it jumped back to life) and the A/F ration was terrible but I was excited to have the car running, and i was showing it to a friend, I took him for a spin and when i got back I let the turbo timer turn the car off, and let it sit for about an hour, then when I left I got on the gas a little and no response from the turbo, and the A/F ration was worse than before, my car has yet to be tuned at all i just havent found anyone around my area that i trust with this car.

whats the brand of the gauge? You need to get it tuned or stop driving it. What turbo timer do you have/

Intake Leak test , sounds like a massive boost leak to me.
Or plugs gapped horribly wrong.

You have an EMS ? if you are not sure about your wide band is it safe to assume you dont know anything about your EMS either ?

is actually says "safc II ems" -

so unless he is calling an AFC a engine management system?? (and he could very well be)

My apologies, the ems is not an ems it is actually an apexi s-afcII super airflow converter, and i dont know much about the car at all actually because i got it from my brother with all the current mods so im pretty sure it has a wide band but i dont know much about it. Anyways this morning i decided to drive the car to work and when i left the driveway it wouldnt go any faster than ten miles and hour, so i left it home and when i got ome from work i messed with the potentiometer (which is very touchy) and the car idled better, but when i took it for a test drive the car didnt go faster than twelve miles an hour, so i have decided to leave the car alone until i can get it tuned or fixed, any suggestions? The plugs are gapped at .030 instead of the suggested .032 i dropped it a bit on account of the boost being 13 PSI and the turbo timer is a Greddy full auto timer it stops at ten minutes cool down time.
