so I wanna do my spark plug cove/cop holder idolized purple to mat my cam gears/hoses/belt/bov and so on.. I know people do it with spray cans but i bought the paint and cant make it happen.. the color does not come close to what it show on the spray cans top.. can anyone help with this? or if you know any local shops in AZ to go drop it off. thanks

and i ment anodized.. LOL

I'm not used to using spray cans, but the principle should be the same. You probably need a silver or gold base coat. You then adjust the color by the number of coats you put on. The more coats, the darker the color.

Those paints are not meant for plastic.

Krylon Fusions is the only paint I would ever use on a plastic interior part. You will never achieve the look you want with a spray can or paint though.

As long as it's aluminum, you could always anodize it yourself. It's really not too hard. And you'll have a ton of purple dye left over to do more parts in the future :hellyeah:
