i just installed my boost gauge, and it reads 0... while i'm accelerating in 2nd (just going aroudn the 'hood, never went above 2nd) it does dip to around 10, and boost is accurate. while i'm decellerating, it jumps back to 0! ????

15 idle, 20 decel, but my gauge is a little off, it reads 1PSI when the car is off ROFL I need to get that fixed :shhh:

21-23 make sure that the nuts that screw the boost gauge together are really tight. i took mine off and then put it back on and it went from reading 12psi to reading 10. so i have to tighten it more. i would suggest you do the same. if that doesnt work then you have some major boost leaks

Ive ran into this on my shelby charger! What kind of gauge are you using? It is possible to have the timing off and see this . You say you get good vac when you decelerate but not at idle? Let me guess are you using the boost gauge from j.c. whitney. It seem to have that problem. If not it could have crimp in the line somewhere. Lets us know if you figure it out. Good question!

When you turn the car off, does it go to 0 ? If not, then you have calibration issues with your boost gauge.

18 vac for me while on idle.
