Idle sounds like the car has aftermarket cams but it doesn't

So today I went through and fixed a huge boost leak. I am happy to report my car is/was running great!

The only thing I have noticed today after I got alot of issues sorted out was that my car is idling as if it has aftermarket cams. It isn't stalling, it isn't idling terribally low it just sounds different and the only way I can describe is , is to compare it to a eclipse with aftermarket cams.

My mechanic regapped my plugs a little smaller than out of the box. He felt it would be better because of my larger injectors etc etc. Could this be the culprit? Any other suggestions I really hope I didn't break anything serious.

Sorry I forgot to mention that I have not noticed any performance issues. The car is running great not stalling not loosing any power or anything like that. Just a weird sounding idle right now

check timing, check compression, i say this because i had a freind who had the exact same thing, 1 cylinder ended up being blown, 0 compression.

not to scare you but it can be a possiblity.

Make sure you don't have a vacuum leak somewhere.

Check CAM timing. Make sure all your timing marks line up on the belt
That WILL make your idle sound like you've got some nasty ass drag cam in it.

Also check the idle switch. Had the same problem and it was my idle switch.
