Do you think that it sounds like my car has cams

Ok I just cut my muffler off so that i could do my 1gb conversion on my car. It now sound to me like it has cams in it. The story of the car goes like this. One of my friends traded for the car out of Indiana. He had it for about a month and it jumped time on him. That is when i bought the car off him. When we were putting it back in time I pulled the valve pan cover of and saw that it had double valve springs and titanium retainers. Then I looked down through the spark plug hole and saw the pistons have SN# on the top of them and not 63DT >.

I know the video is a little grainy but what do you all think of the 1GB rear bumper and taillights with the 1GA spoiler.

Yeah it does rattle now because i had to cut off the last hanger that was on the muffler.

Thanks, its a pretty easy swap just took some time to get every thing lined up right. Then just had to rewire the taillights, turn signals, reverse lights and plate lights.

No doubt it has cams or atleast some timing retard...Something is going on with the valve events for sure.

HE HAS NO MUFFLER!!! Of course it sounds like that. Hell, mine sounds like that with no muffler on it and I have stock cams...

mine sounds like that with stock cams.... LOVIN the 1gb conversion. I absolutely love the pop-ups from 1ga, yet i love the @$$ end of 1gb.... i wish i did that on my last talon!

either that or he has a loose vacuum hose.

My car sounds like it has cams if i disconnect one of the intake manifold hoses
