I recently purchased a set of PTE 680cc injectors from Darksideracing. I installed them and tuned my MAFT to the 680cc settings that were in the instructions. When i started the car. The car would just keep dying.
I had to turn the rich knob up to "5" to keep it at idle.

Could they have sent me the wrong injectors?

Is there any way to identify what size the injectors are? The only thing i recall seeing on them was the etched numbers.

I meant, i had to turn the idle knob to "5" which is way richer then what the instructions say. So that is why i'm thinking they are not the correct size.

tell me what?

They are etched with what seem to be serial numbers.

It doesn't say 680cc etched on it. I am a tad smarter then that man.

I didnt mean any offense to you . ChILL
MY clinic fuel injectors had my cc's etched on them i thought yours might be the same. But here an idea
Call the place you bought them from and ask them to verify the serial # you got on the injectors and how many cc's they are. DUH
It doesnt take a rocket scientist to think that up either.

well if i call the vendor i bought them from, i'm pretty sure they will say they are the 680's. Just drop it. I'll just tune these out the best i can and if they don't meet my needs, i'll buy new ones.
