Ok first off I just got done reading all the read-ups and theads about this stuff so please dont point me in that direction, I've tired. Ok 1g TB with 2.5 TB Elbow, 3in GM MAF, 32x12x3 FMIC(same as all others I think), I have the 97-99 FB Conversion so Question 1) What type of alum could I use for the piping?, Exhaust Piping? I dont know 2) Should I run straight 3in IC piping all the way through so not having to have all the reducers?, Does this effect the performance or flow of the air with reducers? or just 2.5 with reducters? 3) Should I keep less bends in the piping to keep better flow? or running the 180 degree piping wont hurt? 4) Ok last one, www.atpturbo.com thats were I plan on getting my piping, Silicone and T-bolt clamps, it all comes out to close to 300 shipped with all the reducers, 2.5 piping. So please just point in the right direction about all this piping stuff. Thanks

Eric

2.5" is plenty large enough & would be the diameter I would recommend, as for the bends smoother is always better. For the pipeing thats up to you some choices are stainless steel or aluminum. Aluminum is lighter and absorbes & dissapates heat faster.

I figured 2.5 would be good enough, But is $300 a bad price for all the Reducers, Piping, and T-bolt Clamps?? anywere better would be great. thanks for the help

You can get an FMIC and Pre-Cut/Direct Fit Short Route piping from the xspower FMIC group buy for $295!

FMIC with short rout piping, silicon couplers and tbolt clamps =$295 shipped

Sure beats $300 just for the piping set up

Thats what I was going to say... and if you already have the intercooler, you could sell it and make back some of your losses.

If you want some piping, I found this site..seem to have pretty good prices/quality. http://store.racing-solutions.org/index.html
