Id like to see a carbon fiber windshield wiper cover.

mine is grey and gone to junk and i know most peoples have as well.

Thoughts?

I have seen Carbon Fiber wipers before, my friends 93 prelude has them actually. His car is rice anyway, but why would you want CF wipers? Wipers aren't that much to replace, so why not do that? Otherwise just paint them.

Hey guys I know you were talking to boogie man, I'm just saying that they do make them. Since Carbon Werks does a good job I am assuming they would do it for you, but it would be a special order from you, you'd have to give them your wipers, they fit it, do their work, etc. So the CF piece is going to run higher I'm assuming since it is being custom made, and possibly the first time.

are you talking about making the actual wiper arm CF? or that trim piece between the windshield and the hood?

:thumbdown CF wiper arms.
:thumb: trim piece

Not sure if you were talking to me or yup, but I know what you meant, I just said wipers, ahh well. Anyway just talk to Carbon Werks and see what they can do for ya.

One word, not two...as in "Carbonwerks". ;)
Anyhow, as much as I would love to take the money for molding, if you guys just sit tight this is already on the drawing board.

This is one of those things I want for my car as well so of course screw waiting for you guys to buy one!!!! :p I am making it for me if anyone at all. LOL Besides, right now I do not want the pressure of 10 people on a "group buy" stressing me. Things are super busy right now as it is.
Anyhow once my car is back here at home I will be starting on this plug and mold, believe me it will be available on the web page when it is finished and test fit. First one goes to Dragan in the Netherlands, second one to ME, and then it is first come first serve. Shouldn't be much longer. I think on my car at least it will look good with the hood, flowing tp the dash and the deck lid...will flow nice. :) Weird that you brought this up when we are already planning on it! You will have to figure something out on your own for the strip of rubber that goes on the edge though.

I'm sure im stating the obvious but if you're repainting the wiper cowl and sideview mirrors they look GREAT in a glossy black. It matched my talons black roof alot better then the kinda flat black that came stock and really does look clean and shiny. i just did it too fix the peeling and fadin paint but it looks great and has lasted the year so far.

CF is my crack and you are my dealer.

be aware that i Eat little. work hard, and will accept strips of carbon fiber as payment. so if you need help. PLEASE CALL@@#$!@!!!

i am going to save up for it, mind if we ask what else you have planned?

^^^^ Thats funny! LOL.
As for other parts I am making...well right now I do not plan on anything else except the windshield wiper cover, the quarter window surrounds will start soon, console panels are coming back now that we have new molds made (last ones got broken by me...bad day!!!) and that is probally it for awhile. I have sooooooooooo many orders right now to knock out that I have NO time for new projects/R&D, making plugs and molds is a VERY time consuming process...and it is just one guy at the shop handling EVReYTHING...ME!!! OMG
I have no idea yet what it will sell for but I do not want to overstep my boundries on the forum and get booted so just keep an eye on the site every couple weeks.

On a side note, I have been vacumm bagging some experimental parts and almost have a timing belt cover perfected!!! Yummy. No time soon at all though. :(
