I want better fuel managment

I've been running my car with a turbo for about a year now.I put around 9000 miles on the turbo kit since I worked all the bugs out.Im only boosting up to 7psi with a walbro 255 HP and a vortec 12:1 FMU .My motor has 87,580 orig miles,I have no vac leaks,My comp. is good in all cylinders.Only once and a while when I'm at full throttle goin through the gears, my AF gauge jumps lean all the way on me and I loose some power untill I let off the pedal alittle.Can someone tell me what I can use for better fuel managment other then a 12:1 FMU without spending more than $400?I use the car for daily driving,but I want to be able to turn the boost up to 10-11psi when needed.If I have no choice but to spend more then $400, what would be the best fuel set up for 10-11psi,without having to change my computer to a stand alone unit?

would a SFMU be good enough for daily driving?I'd like like to turn the boost up to 11psi.I really want something that would keep my A/F perfectly in tune.I cant afford to have a melt down so If there is a sure fire item that is around $400-$500 that would control my A/F under 11psi,Ill get one.Is the mega squirt set up good for daily use?

The sfmu still isn't perfect though if you want the best results id say msns the sfmu will act like your fmu but with the ability to change the ratio it works but for the money id say msns not telling you what to do just telling you my thoughts and also people have used a safc however it runs off of MAF sensors much more efficiently than MAP

I might sell my used ms unit, if it doesnt get installed by next week. Shops in my area charge $400-$600 just to install plus $300-$400 for a tune. Id would do it myself but im a total noob to splicing & electric work.

People have been using the SFMU for a long time, still do. You can boost what your wanting to do on the SFMU, the other option is port fueler but is a little out of your price range thats listed here. Sek Phok, PM me the info on your MSnS unit please.

for your price range a used sfmu would probably be the best bet as noted it is a pain to wire it in yourself and costs to tune so make sure to add that into the final price

If you can't afford a melt down I wouldn't push 11psi on stock pistons and rods (I am guessing that the info in your profile is up to date). I know there are people out there that are running 11psi on stock internals but your starting to get in to the "Danger Zone" (Archer quote). I am a fan of not pushing my car to the breaking point especially when I don't have the money to fix it but thats just me you are free to do what you like.

thanx shake! the best advise Ill every hear for my situation!I do have the original motor for my car just sittin in the back of my garage.I should just build that block for more boost but I have not found a good kit at a reasonable price yet.Can you point me in the right direction for a good rebuild kit?

Eh? It's hard to tell (given the lack of punctuation), but did you say an S-FMU has wires? If so, that's not the case. And tuning it is pretty simple, so there aren't any major costs there.
