Ok...so i buy a 1990 laser for 175.00, turbo for 200.00, cleaned out about 10 ounces of oil from the intercooler and intake pipes. My idle is too high, around 1500-2000 rpm. Check engine light flashes on and off occasionally. BCS is bypassed, running off of wastegate only. No smoke from tailpipe.

When i turn off the car, I believe my plugs are being fouled by excess fuel. Car is hard to start after it is warmed up. SO, no my starter wont engage. No underhood click. There is a light click in column, and a louder click near radio. Any suggestions? relays, solenoid. Thanks once i get the starter going again I can focus on the plug fouling.

Take it out and to a parts store that will test it for you. You could spend hours trouble shooting trying to avoid removing it. Most likely the problem is in the starter itself, but if not, it will help narrow down the list of possible causes.
