I need some help with my SAFCII!! Settings question!

Mods that effect tuning..

90 Eclipse GST
-Hacked 1g MAS
-SAFCII
-MMCD
-3" Exhaust
-510cc Injectors
-Tubular o2 dump
-Big16G .. Ported w/ 34mm flapper
- ~17lbs of boost
-Supporting mods

Hey guys .. well ive spent a little bit of time dialing in my low range settings so that they were as close to 100% low trim as possible. But now im having some problems with my highs. I had an SAFCI before then got the SAFCII for a great deal from a friend and thats when i hacked my MAS and put on the 510s.

I have a decent background of the AFC but i dont know where to start for the highs with the slightly bigger injectors and the hacked mas! I was thinking i should start it around -4 the whole way across then start from there, does that even sound close?

Oh yea and one more thing, i was curious. I think i have either bad wires/plugs/or coil cause ive noticed that under WOT my car will boost for a second then will start sputtering like no other. Its fine under partial throttle but it seems like once i go over 50% or more it starts to sputter. I dont think i have any boost leaks. I havent got a chance to check the ignition stuff yet but i wanted to see what you guys thought about it too.

All I can say is just keep adding or taking fuel untill your hi-trims are close to 100, do you have the big screw on the bottom backed out, if so I would turn it back in and start tuning from there.
YOU HAVE A BOOST LEAK, BUILD A TESTER AND FIND AND FIX IT. It sounds like you have a small leak to me, take your time and find all the leaks. Good luck

Well, one other thing, I did have a similar problem a few years ago an my 90 gst and the car would run a lot better when I would unplug the Mass air plug, And it ended up being a bad ECU, Pull it and smell it, if it has a weird fishy smell, look and the caps and see if they have leaked onto the circuit board, or even a burn spot on the board itself.

I'm having the same problem! It happened after I installed a set of RC 550cc injectors. I did a boost leak test and found a hairline crack in the IC and a couple of pinholes on my boost reference bung, fixed those two issues, drove it again and still the sputtering continues at WOT. The only time I can get it to run smooth is when giving it 70%-80% throttle (max) and it pulls nice & smooth. I run 20lbs of boost on my TD05H/16G.

What plugs/gap are you guys running?

Sounds like your spark might be getting blown out under increased airflow.
