Greetings to all in the forum.
I am currently building a DSM AWD for use in local circuit racing events for ST2 category wich is for cars street cars with an engine displacement from 2000cc to 2500cc with turbocharged and the restriction that they must not exceed 350 hp. I had mishaps with my last engine block and I had to discard it because can't be repaired, so now I need another engine block to continue my project. I looked everywhere in my town and I could not find a block 4G63 Turbo, and I have only two options: 4G64 N/A engine block and 4G63 N/A engine block which does not have oil squirters.
I have in stock the following pieces to build a new engine:
- Recently rebuild cylinder Head from 1g DSM 4G63 6-bolts with EVO 8 spring & retainers, Supertech bronze valve guides, vitton seals, Supertech stock size valves, Stock camshaft, 3g DSM lifters
- New OEM Pistons from 4G63 Turbo 7-bolts with 8.5:1 CR
- Used OEM Connecting Rod from 4G63 Turbo 7-bolts 22mm wrist pin size
Any recomendations about which engine block (4G64 N/A or 4G63 N/A) do you think is better for my project, will be very appreciated... Thanks
