I need opinions on this turbo kit

no fuel return : / thats not good. and that turbo is just some chinese junk. I was looking at the same thing but it wouldnt be worth it. Only good things out of it I would say are the manifold and the IC piping.

better of saving up for a hanh kit or make one your self out of parts that have been proven.

They increased there price...
A few months ago they sold that kit for $799.
Piece together your own kit. That way you get exactly what you want. It will be more expensive then this kit but much less then the hahn kit.

I'm not a big fan of their intercooler, but I definitely think this is the best way to go for beginners:

420a Turbo kit 95-99 Eclipse Talon - TREADSTONE PERFORMANCE

It doesn't come with any fuel system (but that just means you get to use whatever you'd like instead of getting something you don't really want)

It will require less fabrication than any ebay kit

It includes QUALITY NAME BRAND parts. There are plenty of vital parts in a turbo kit that shouldn't be trusted to ebay quality (i.e. turbo, wastegate, bov)

Of course if I was stepping into this all over again, I would just get the turbo/downpipe/manifold from treadstone ($1200ish) and build the rest to what I want from there. Ebay intercooler kit ($200), tial wastegate ($225), walbro fuel pump ($100), FCD from somewhere else (they can be had for $25 brand new) and MSnS + fpr and return fuel line ($550). Add in $200 for miscellaneous items, oil line kits, gaskets etc. You then have an awesome turbo kit with all new quality parts plus a fully tunable ECU for $2500. The only thing preventing you from more boost will be your injectors and your block plus some gauges to monitor; none of these last few things come with any turbo kit

That a lot of money for that junk JDM turbo kit... The only to thing in my set from e-bay are the BOV and turbo. I know many people say that the e-bay turbo is junk, but how many of them have actually ran them? My was running in good condition for over a year at 17 PSI, before my trans broke. You just have to make sure you use an oil restrictor. I think i'll make a write on it next month when I have some time... BTW, by next summer my car should be running again but at 25 PSI on the same e-bay crap turbo, i'll see how it hold then, but until then I think they're great for beginners and cheap.
