I need help with my 90 talon awd!!!!!

Hi i was wondering if there is a way of taking off the cruise control box in my 90 talon or a way to relocate it. Has any of you done this? Thanks

Yes some people relocate to where it is on the 91-94's

It's not very hard but I think you have to hack up the unit and then make some new holes so it still fits with somewhat stock looking appearence.

If you want to get rid of it, just buy a non-cruise control throttle cable.

Exactly, I did that on my 2G.

Check out my gallery. I changed out my crusie control for the non-cruise control throttle cable.

Easy to do and gets rid of that big piece of crap in the engine bay.

I took the bolts out of mine and just relocated it kinda under the bracket where it was mounted so now it rest on top of the shift cables, i took some large zip ties and secured it down there and now i was able to run a straight peice of 2.25 pipe from my TB to my side mount intercooler and i cut a small peice of quarter inch board and mounted it to the old bracket and mounted my mass air translator to the board, it worked out really good.

If I relocate it would there be any other problem. Can i put it where the 92-94 dsm are.
