I need help right away!! fuel pump problem maybe

ok, I have had this sputter for a while like 4-5 weeks, and it sounds like a miss but I know its not. it does this on a cold start around 2500 rpm's and it just sputters step on it and it sputters drive normal and it sputters, but today I got pissed off so I floored it and it just keep sputtering and then it took off around 4k in second so then after all that I pull up to a light and take off first gear is fine then second gear around 5500 I think I hit fuel cut not sure tho it just totally dies like a huge like the car just stops feels like an accident almost, I have a 14b stock fuel components and im boosting around 15-18 psi and it used to hold very nicely I think my fuel pump might be going im getting scared becasue things just keep getting worse. I turned my boost down to ten psi until I fix this damn problem someone please help me!!! AHHH (1990 Tsi Fwd)

Judging by your mod list, your car is probably running rather lean. The reason you have no power is probably because your car is pulling timing.

Time to do some fuel upgrades.

no its running rich as hell, I can smell it big time, and I dont have a coolant temp sensor and I probably have a vacuum leak

Without a coolant temp sensor for the ecu, i think you ecu will think the car is running really hot, thus add fuel and bog you down.
