Return line goes out the bottom. Idk if that fitting will fit a 2g return line mine didn't fit. The return line is super small.

The SS line has the red sleeve slide thru it and then you screw on the blue parts, they have a nipple end on them that you might want to lube up to make its easier to go in (LOL). You want a clean cut/no frays with electrical tape on the end you put into the red sleeve. The wrench them. You will need -an wrenches if you don't want to scuff them up, you can try electrical tape on the wrenches to stop the scuffing but I didn't have much luck.

Just look up how to make SS braided lines if you need more help. You can use either side of the AFPR to connect your fuel rail to.

:ohdamn: i thought he meant on the car ha silly me.

Maybe this will help. I did mounted mine the same way as he did. And I have to bend the bracket a little bit more, grind out the nut for about 3mm and find another nut to mount the bracket (M12 x 1.5 I believe). I hope you have all the component that you need since you probably bought it from another vendor. Good luck dude.

Reason for installing an AFPR other than for looks? The stock 2g one will hold fine.

That's the main reason most people buy an AFPR setup.

To OP:

Did you not get an instructions page from the vendor you purchased the kit from? Most will include one.

Also, putting AN lines together isn't really alot of fun. You might want to have a local speed shop do it for you, because if you mess up you could have leaks.

1.its not really for looks, when i got my car tuned they said i needed a fpr.
my car is fully built but i only have a small 16g in it.the car looses power evry 5 min or so, i have to put it in neutral then let the rpms drop then put it back in gear. :toobad:

2. slow boy racing had me waiting for a month after i placed an order and PAYD untill i got the whole kit., they didnt eaven send me the sales order.

And who exactly is "they"? The ONLY time you need an AFPR is when you run the limits of a 190lph or 255lph and wanna lower fuel pressure to increase the flow and don't wanna upgrade the pump. Your stock regulator will hold a 255lph or bigger pump just fine. I would spend the money elsewhere.

they GRD" this tuning shop in IL. . and its a little to late, alredy have it installed.

i am looking into replacing my fpr too. i don't care what you say about the stock being good. my stock one on my 97 is crapping out on me (took it to 3 different shops and they all told me its my fpr). it reads so rapidly on the gauge the only number i can see the needle bounce from is 55psi. and i have done NO fuel mods of any sort to expect it to crap out on me.

So i have purchased the aeromotive 1:1 afpr to replace the cheap stock one. Not to mention the oem replacement from autozone is actually 20 bucks more expensive then the aeromotive one. Looks? who cares about what the thing looks like? Seriously, mine is back by the fuel pump not on the fuel rail.

Now i have read about someone else who has the same 97-99 fuel rail as me, where again, thier fpr is in-line at the fuel pump. This is what he posted...

I prefer the '97+ rail's cleaner exterior and unobstructed interior so I run one in my '95. I did use a -04 AN push-lock barb adapter and Aeromotive 1:1 FPR.

As for the AN fitting... if the rest of your fuel system is stock is it really needed to get the AN fitting? what the heck is a AN fitting with a push-lock barb adapter? is that honestly needed? or should the aeromotive unit fit directly to the old equipment without AN adapters and such?
