i need a lazy mans fix lol

I have a 3inch catback and whenever i hit a nice size bump or pothole the piping shifts over and dings off my transfercase, i can grap my muffler and shift it side to side pretty far (more then normal), Do i have to install another hanger or can i just put something on the piping , padding of some sort, but wouldnt it melt, hmmmm... ideas??

Fix it right and fix it right now. Doing 50% of the job leaves 50% chance of a problem later 100% of the job means your good to go. Don't half ass stuff on your car its not worth the tow truck ride home.

putting on another hanger would be the best solution. however, you may be able to get some wire (like plumbing tape...the metal ribbon stuff with holes in it) and string that baby up. dont do it too high though, just enough to prevent the rattle/shifting
