I need a cops opinion

My dad had a cop buddy run my license number to see if my license was suspended or not and he said my license came up as valid with no restrictions could it be possible that the judge was bluffing about taking my license away?

I would say the paper work to have it suspended takes time to process.

the judge is not going to bluff you. did he state that it was suspended? its possible that the license number was improperly put into the computer system, but i doubt that. i honestly wouldn't risk driving with it. contact the courts for an explanation because you don't want to get caught up with a suspended license 3 weeks from now wen they realize their mistake

they said that that the paper work was going to be here weds and idk im not complaining about a 3 month suspension but im still hoping there is a chance

Did the Judge give you any paperwork copy stating that it would be suspended?

The "Right" thing to do is just do as told...

But why not just wait and have the cop run the license again you might have struck luck!

No the paper work he gave me only said I got a 25 dollar fine.

you can check your liscence online on the BMV website, look for the unoffical copy of your driver's record.

It is possible that something got screwed up in the processing.

I had a speeding ticket in the past that I got a prayer for judgement on, which basically just postpones the charges as long as you don't get another ticket within three years. I got another speeding ticket in the county right next to me a year later and it NEVER showed up on my record.

Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes shit happens, but normally the latter.

I agree. Find a number for the traffic court and call them or the DMV/BMV to verify.

he has no idea what is going on
he told me maybe my license is gone maybe its not he said usually it goes in the system as suspended in like 2-3 days in a small county like ours but he said he has no idea

When I got pulled over in October last year, I went to court in November and got my tickets and everything but the judge said nothing about suspending my license, At the begining of December I get a letter from the Department of transportation saying My license was suspended effective on Dec. 10th....So it might take awhile for it to actually get through the system and whatnot
