Ok i have a 95 eagle talon tsi and a 96 tsi i'm selling the 96 because i love the turbo. Ok heres the problem the 95 had a tape and cd player stock and my 96 i put in a jvc cd player. I switced them and my dash lights went out and it blew the fuse for my taillights. Than i put the stock cd tape player in my 96 and it did the same damn thing. Does anyone know what is goin on. :talon:

Definately sucks blowing fuses.... Anyhow, if the player is causing fuses to blow on both cars then you possibly have a bad radio. If it's the aftermarket radio, sometimes they have inline fuses on them or they have a fuse on the back. Try replacing that fuse if it has one and try again, if not you might need to replace the radio. Be sure to check the following wires for scrapes or contact with metals: 12v source, ACC 12v, and ground.

Hope this helps.

back when i had my 96 RS my taillights and interior gauge lights and ac lights blew, everyone kept bragging about how a wires touching somehwere so i tor my whole car apart almost can say completly gutted it out and nothing! so then i said f#$# @$@$#@$
what can it be i kept blowing fuses left and right.so it came to be that the side front bumper lights were both blown si i replaced them and the fuse and flicked the switch on and the fuse didnt blow OMG :D . so then 2min later the passenger side bumper light blew and thats where the short was. so check everything it could be the simple's thing. :dsm: :thumb:

i had tacky red lights on the hood of my car when i bought it and after a while they blew a fuse cuz one of them was blown. i just disconnected them and everything was fine
