Cant wait until they show up in the mail.

BTW Im not going to use the pod i will put em ( boost and oil psi) in the din below the radio.

+1 Autometer boost gauge off by 2 psi...

I was looking into glow shift as well. I just can't figure out if the triple pod will work with the automatic seat belts.

Get the double pod and then put one gauge under the stereo in that open dim. thats what im going to put mine.

How does the 2 gauge pod fit? I want function and aesthetics if possible.

Im not sure i havent recieved it in the mail yet should get em on wed. thats why I was going to put em below the stereo.

EDIT:

As soon as I get em installed I will take pics and show you guys!

Right now I have my boost gauge below the stereo and it is a hassle to try to monitor the knock gauge and the boost gauge and the road when doing pulls. I don't like the idea of the pillar mounts but this is definitely a case where the function may over rule the form. I'm interested to see how it works out for you. I'm sure you'll keep us posted.:thumb:

I cant believe the amount of people that have had trouble with autometer. Never really had those problems. I guess I might try a set of these glowshift guages on my next project car though.

Read my review above.

Glowshift, their gauges, and pods are just fine. I have 3 DSMs that I've installed their products in and non have any signs of problems.

As far as gauge accuracy, I have compared their boost gauge with a Greddy gauge. Read review above for more. The pod fits great just like my lotek. I also intalled the gauge cluster pod for 2 gauges, no problem either.

I really didn't find anything to complain about, those who have probably never even own their product.

I had a problem with my Autometer boost guage, has since been replaced by an extra Faze guage that works quite a bit better so far. My Autometer was off by +2psi. I also have an Autometer EGT, but I have nothing to compare the readings to, so as far as I know, it's correct.

Im definitely gonna try those glowshift guages in my next car. They look nice, just not too sure if I want an A-pillar guage holder though.

personally i wouldnt ever use a cheap gauge ... unlike the cool look of having gauges .. they are important if you ever use them for there purpose..
just my 2 cents

well I got the pod and gauges today. Good looking but running the wires from the oil pressure sending unit to a ground then to the gauge in the car PITA. got to worry bout the wires hitting the crank pully and axle. I just ran the wires for the oil pressure but havent done anything else yet waiting for an extra set of hands.

Hey PIMking,
How did the install go for you, I just ordered mine from them today, I went with Boost, EGT, and Oil pressure. Got any pics of the final product yet? I decided to go with the "A" pillar setup (didn't want to but, I have to keep an eye on boost as often as possible).

Anyone use the glowshift EGT guage, if yes how is it working for you?

Went pretty well Im still cant figure out the oil pressure (god i hate electricle work)

But it looks good. Little word of advice use the screws that come with the a piller pods i didnt and it looks okay once i paint te screws black but I will get pics up of em tomarrow. If this is your first gauge set up be prepared for about 2-3 hours of work to get em looking nice. I dont like having wires ran everywere so I took my time to get the wires hidden.

You will need a Razor or a Steak knife works to cut a whole in your steering boot to run the wires thru. ( go thru the bottom left side) then run the wires under the carpet (make sure not to kink or pinch the Boost hose) up by the fuse box under the dash and to the gauges. I have my power ran to the acc wire on the radio with an inline fuse so when i turn the key on the gauges come on. and there is a nice easy ground once you pull your carpet and kick panel off that you can ground both gauges to.

Go and get some wire ends from wal mart and the little splicer deals. I ran one Power wire Spliced all the red wires to one .18 gauge wire (with the fuse) so that you only have one wire running under the steering colum (sp) to the radio and one wire running down to the ground. Its pretty easy but I made sure that I had plenty of time to get em in to were they looked good. I hope this helps.

I haven't gotten my set yet hopefully they show up tomorrow, for the oil pressure gauge its electrical not mechanical right? I shelled out an extra $26 bucks for an GLOWSHIFT GAUGES: Oil Filter Adapters: OIL FILTER SANDWICH ADAPTER you can look at it at eBay Store - GLOWSHIFT GAUGES: Oil Filter Adapters: OIL FILTER SANDWICH ADAPTER ACURA RSX 02-07 I don't know if that will work for your needs otherwise I have heard of all you do is replace the oil sender with the stock one, this will make your stock gauge not work anymore and thus the reason for me to buy the sandwich adapter. Let us know how it turns out.

Are the gauges seemingly made well? Solid construction?

They appear to be fine, I just got mine delivered (took 2 days), and will hopefully be putting them in tomorrow or Monday time permitting. I did talk to the technical support and customer service when I was deciding and they seem to do a good job. I'll let you know how the gauges perform after I get them in.
