Well I just in from grinding my little heart out. I was having bad boost creep since I got my RNR 3 inch O2 elim back, I figured I would try this. I know that PTE and some other companies offer it on bigger turbos so I thought I would give it a try an the good ol' 14B. I wasnt to worried about messing it up just because I have a 20G waiting to go on, but I did put a paper towel on the exhaust hole and used a shop vac to suck up the extra metal. I wasnt to bad to do on the car and I know if I took it off it would have been a ton easier, but I am lazy and didnt want to pull the turbo. Share you thoughts unless they are that I suck.

Wow, thats some major port job. I'm currently wondering if that cut out inbetween the turbine outlet and the wastegate, should help boost creep. Please post updates on its outcome.

In most cases, you can get rid of the creep without going that extreme (if you take the housing, of course).

That's cool though, let us know how it works. It's not great for turbine exit flow (lots of turbulence), but that's better than creep.:D

hmm, wonder what a port job like that would do on a t25.... i get terrible creep.

So how has this worked for you?

I tried porting my 14b (only a crappy 4 hour job, though) today and only made the creep worse :(. I getting tired of this damn creep...

I think the best bet would be to port the turbine housing inlet towards the wastegate hole. Port to show more of the wastegate door so airflow can be directed straight towards the flapper.

This link is one I made after researching Boost creep solutions.Link here

And one from here on Tuners....link 2

Here is my update. I got the car running after the tranny swap and it holds boost very nice. It only creeps a bit and then settles back down, but that could just be the BC I have.
