my lifter tick is not their when first starting cold but when it warms up it starts is this lifter tick?

another option is try and source some used evo 8 or 9 ones (They have the new revision and are OEM) like i did and bleed them yourself. its real simple and takes less than an hour and you can leave the cams in!

I was having really bad lifter tick in my car and as soon as I changed the oil it fixed it. The oil was low black and like water. The previouse owner was kind of a meathead.

which reminds me; i started to get tick yesterday morning.

probably a good time to change the oil.

I've always had lifter tick in my car though mine is a 1g (don't know if that makes a difference) but it goes away after the car warms up. I was thinking of getting 3g lifters, but not enough money and the tick is'nt doing anything to my car so I'll deal with it haha.

It depends on the ramp rate and peak lift of the cams. My fp2X cams would develope a problem before someone elses hks272s.

if you were to guess an rpm where this might become an issue what would it be? going by your fp2X cams

1 : Improper installation, like you didn't bleed the lifters well.

I don't think I did it twice carefully at the OEM and the Topline Revised Lifters

2 : You have no sufficient oil pressure/oiling issue at cylinder head for some reason.

In the cylinder head where the oil for the turbo comes out in the 1G, I installed a pressure gauge.
cold oil 10 PSI
With the oil at 90°C 1 to 2 Psi
What is the correct pressure for that point?

At the oil filter outlet at the same point as the dashboard pressure gauge sensor
Cold oil 5.6 bar = 81.2 PSI
With the oil at 90°C 1.92 bar= 27.84 Psi
all measurements at idle

Do you have an aftermarket oil pressure gauge?
yes with electronic pressure transmitters 4 20 ma and digital indicators on the dashboard,
