I have code p1294 Cuming up on my scanner.

My 2g throwing up p1294 code. Trying 2 figure sumthings out. But lost n still looking for what to do or find to fix the problem. Car will run for twenty mins to half hour no problem but idles high. Then it will cut out on me. Let it sit for 20mins then it will start up no problems. On my scanner it reads target idle speed not reached n on the dtc libary it says The role of FICM IS TO CONTROL INJECTOR TIMING AND INJECTION VOLUME (INJECTOR OPENING TIME. ASLO CALLED AS PULSE WIDTH) ACCORDING TO COMMAND FROM ECU. THATS ### MY SCANNER IS TELLING ME. SO IF THERE ANYONE WHO HAD SAME ISSUE N FIXED THE PROBLEM LET ME KNOW.

If the pcm does not see that your idle is within target idle set, it will trigger the code. I recommend cleaning the idler control and spray throttle body cleaner on the butterfly in throttlebody, and clean real good. Also check throttle position sensor and make sure its set correct. Reset computer by deleting code and drive it more, see if that helps.
