Well it all started yesterday, I took the stock muffler off (and am in the process of removing all the way to the cat) turned the car on and it sounds pretty cool with it off, my car cam's for some reason at around 900rpm. So I decide to take it for a spine to see if i like what I here and at WOT I hit fuel cut at 4500rpm. It shocked me and I though I hurt my car but I didnt. So I decided to just ease into the gas to see what was going on and for some unknown reason I was boosting to 20-21psi!! I set my MBC as low as possible, went back out and it happened again. so now my gas pedal is my boost controller!! help me please.

Also to note if i hit fuel cut or around 20psi I loose break pressure. Non of the said things happened before I removed the muffler and I have no boost leaks.
Sorry if this has been asked before I looked as best I knew how.

Ok so my though is, I have a 3in. tube thats 3ft. long that im goint ot weld to my cat. Will this help(there will be a Muffler on the pipping)

What happened is when you removed the restrictive exhaust your turbo did not have the same back pressure on it as it usually did.

You need to port your turbo to avoid boost creep, but you can also go with a better flowing O2 dump and hope that helps, it's not a 100% thing but sometimes a external O2 dump will help out some, but heres the thing with external O2 dumps... they get old VERY fast.

You are going to want a full exhaust and a better O2 if you can and if you can afford it, port your turbo.

What are your specs? you shouldn't hit fuel cut like that? and you shouldn't see a stupid amount of boost increase from taking your cat back off!

I actually have a ported 14b Exhaust housing and compressor cover with a Open dump O2 housing ported to 3in. itll go on soon. I just think its weird that i get a spike from 15psi to 20psi! And If you can find a exhaust for a gst that isnt $500+ be my guest hahahah. I hope I get this figured out,and Is this making my breaks lose pressure?

How many times does this same post need to be posted..

When you removed the exhaust from the cat back the exhaust is now really free flowing..Causing boost creep or spike, I'm guessing creep...To the point where it hits fuel cut..

Problem solved! Non of what you guys said helped, sorry. It was a missing bolt on the exhaust Mani.
