i have a problem!

hey guys i have a 90 gst fairly modded, but im having a problem and i cant figure out were its coming from. to start off the other day i was gettin on the car a lil bit and i was spinning around a bend showing off! the next day i started my car was on my way to work and i noticed my turbo would spool to about 8 psi and drop to 5 or a little under, i have my boost set at 18 psi, with a stock side mount, when it spools i hear air it sounds like its goin to blow my damn door off! all my vacuum is good, just did a turbo rebuild and an engine rebuild, possible i put a pin hole or somethin in my smic? or maybe the smic cant stand the pressure im running. its a 16g turbo. today i crushed my bov to make sure it wasnt the problem and it wasnt! please please give me ideas!

Check all your couplers and such .. sounds like you have a boost leak

yeah this defintitely sounds like a boost leak. Pressurize your intake and find it. Not sure how? Heres how: http://www.vfaq.com/mods/ICtester.html
