I Fell Stupid...

Well, today I thought I'd install my Dejon Tool's UIC piping. It looked sweet just sitting in the box so I couldn't wait to get it on. Well I start taking the stock piping off. It was easy, I was having a good time. Then I start bolting everything up, and I notice that it doesn't quite fit. The ends don't meet up, and it looked like I was about 1"-2" away from meeting up with the intercooler. So I tried lining up the ends, and it made it worse. So I'm mad, and so I decide to put everything back together. Well the last bolt I'm tightening, my socket falls off and WAY down by the firewall.
Could I possibly got the wrong IC pipe from Dejon Tool? Please help.

You spelt feel wrong..

But besides that, yes it is possible to make mistakes. Check what your receipt says and verify it is for the right year. If it is, maybe Dejon made a mistake.

I checked my receipt and it says 2g DSM w/ Blitz BOV. Right on just what I needed, but it won't fit.
As I was installing it I kept remembering someone saying on this board that it was a cakewalk. I agreed with that person until I noticed something was not right.
Eh, I did get the new 2 1/2" 3 piece pipe kit from Dejon Tool. Is the mistake there? It's new so I'm like the beta tester?

Hrmmm.. I would call them and ask them. Maybe they forgot to send you a piece. Would a larger silcone coupler work?! I dunno man, call them.

they probably sent you the right one cause it took me forever to get the UIP on myself because if you didn't really notice the 2 couplings they provide one is longer then the other and you gotta use the longer one for the piping near the throttle bottle and a little elbow grease, maybe that'll help solve your problems........

edit nvm mine was the 2 and 1/4......

If you got that pipe you do know its only made for the GM MAF right ? Thats why it doesnt fit.

Or you could get a GM MAS and a Translator.
