Ive been looking for hours trying to find the damn thing on my spyder. Can someone help me out? I have the po335 code and I have the new sensor but I cant find where to replace it... Sorry for being a noob . Thanks

I used google for hours. Used the search bar on multiple DSM forums. Couldnt find much except for people with opposite opinions on everything...

How do I go about removing the timing belt cover lower half? It seems like its buried in there and from searching, people are saying I have to drill holes in the chassis or remove the whole engine to be able to remove a small plastic cover.

All I want to do is replace my crankshaft position sensor and I cannot for the life of me find anything even semi helpful on how to do it. I just want some simple instructions please.

I found the opposite end of the sensor and tried following the wire. It lead down next to the bottom half
of the belt cover and then it just dissapears from there. Looked under the car and couldnt see it either. Seems like everyone claims its really easy to replace or a complete pain in the ass.

Someone help Ive been at this for waaaay too long

May as well buy a new timing belt, you have to take everything timing related and all the accessory belts and pumps of to get at the CPS

Edit: just noticed this is in the 420a thread, didn't you say this was for a spyder?

It is fairly easy to change, remove belts, water pump pulleys, crank pulley, ac tensioner and them the covers can be removed. If you are having that much trouble with it than i would consider buying a good manual for the car.
