I can't find downpipe angled for an evo o2 housing

LOL back from the dead. But...

Do you think having an EVO III exhaust manifold with an EVO III 02 housing will make any of the fitment issues less of a threat?

An evo3 exhaust manifold won't matter as far as fitment is concerned. The external dimension are pretty much the same.

If you have the evo3 o2 housing and are looking for a downpipe that will fit well your best bet is to go with an RRE downpipe, as they can angle the flange correctly.

I ended up getting an external wastegate off the o2 and not using my evo3 o2 housing. Since I already had the downpipe I went with a tubular recirculated o2 housing from punishment racing that offers them with the correct angle for the RRE downpipe I had already.

i just cut the pipe right under the flange, test fitted the correct angle, tack welded it at the proper angle and then just welded the whole pipe back together, filling in the gap with weld.

I think I am just gonna buy a RRE downpipe for my car when I get a new turbo. I am getting the components now. O2 housing, exhaust manifold etc.

Thread revival from 2007! OMG

would a PR downpipe fit the evo 3 02 housing?, how hard is to make it fit? thank you!

Any downpipe made to fit a 2G o2 housing will fit an evo 3 o2 housing, but it will have a lot of stress at the flex. You can try it, but after a few days or weeks, it will break at the flex. You might be able to send your evo o2 housing to Tim at PR, if he is willing to make one for your car, but you'll have to check with him.

Here is the difference in angle...

My 2.5 inch megan racing downpipe didn't fit a EVO 3 02 housing. Studs are too far apart.

A 3" downpipe would fit.
