I am picking up my first 1g eclipse n/t tommorow

Needs alot of work but for $650 how can you go wrong. Has two sets of bumpers stock and an aftermarket bodykit and since the rear aftermarket bumper is already molded to the car im going with the body kit. Really the only thing it needs is an exhaust and battery. Has a gallon of this cool red paint. After i get it running and painted i want to get my car up to around 300 hp if that is possible i was thinking about putting a t3 turbo kit forged pistons new cams and getting the head rebuilt what do you guys think?

Well, the short route to making power is to buy an already turbocharged DSM. Its a lot more work and money to turbocharge a naturaly asprated engine than it is to modifiy a turbochared engine. Do some research and see what some other people with the N/A 4g63 have done.

It may be a 4g63 engine, however it differs from the 4g63t. Your engine does not have oil squirters to cool the bottoms of the pistions, weaker connecting rods, and slightly different pistions.
