*Huge lag at 2000rpm and low end!*

Can this be wrong timing on CAS? This occurs even when i have the car in neutral, up untill boost. Any clues? No CEL and can post datalogge results. just let me know which things to post.

Huge lag at 2k????? The turbo shouldn't spool up until about 2500. I don;t know what you're talking about.

No power below 2K is only a problem if you somehow installed one of those K03 turbos from a VW 1.8T. The compression ratios on 1G's are quite low (7.8:1) compared to today's turbocharged engines, so when the car is off boost, it's dawg slow. As long as you see boost start to build by 2500 and hit full boost by 3000 (assuming your car is still stock), you're just fine.

It's not like a no boost problem its more like maybe a misfire i've been told. Like it sounds like someone it hitting my motor with a hammer around those rpms,

If it's falling on it's face to death then probably it's phantom knock. Do you have a logger showing any knock? Mine falls on it's face when I get massive phantom knock.

Yup that is the problem exactually. Well more like 2500. Nope no phantom knock, my logger picks up 0. I can post any logs, just let me know what things to post.

How about your tach. readings...what do they do? Does the needle jump all over the place under 2000rpms and sound like a bass drum roll, and the car just vibrates no matter throttle position? I had symptoms like that one time, i fouled out some spark plugs. I get boost as low as 2200rpm's with 14b only 3psi, but still
