Evo 3 16g
Extreme Psi Install Kit
Greddy 24v FMIC
Walbro 255
SAFC II without logger
Boost and A/F not wideband gauages
Hard Up and Lower Innercooler Pipes
o2 with dump
Turbo XS MBC
Stage 4 CC Clutch and Flywheel.

I Still Need 650cc Injectors.

Do I need a FRP????


I wanting to push about 18-20psi on all stock block and head.

What are your plans for the car? If it is just going to be a street car I would just get a SAFC and a chip from Jeff, if you have bigger turbo plans later down the road save for link.

Did I say that? No

I said for the setup he has right now a SAFC would be enough and from what I can see he cannot afford Link at the moment so I don't see why people keep telling him to get link when hes made it clear he can't afford that right now so give him helpful info on what he CAN work with at the moment.

Your point? You can only tune up to 650cc injectors safely with a SAFC and if he plans on running a bigger turbo down the road he'll most likely need bigger injectors which will require him to tune with Link. Also, you NEED to get a logger and WBo2 asap so you know what your car is doing or your gonna be running into even bigger problems.

the main draw backs to it are that it will not like to control really large injectors and it will obviously control timing. A wideband is a must have.

i do not mind buying smaller injectors. just what will ever run with SAFC II.

Ok, if you want something up and running now, stick to your original plans. The 650's will be fine with the S-AFC. And if you want to do any real tuning, you'll need a wideband and a logger. But it's not necessary to get it up and running.

It is just a general guide if you want to go fast and what it would take to get there...I would save up for ecm link v3 because you will need more function and capabilities when you continue to mod your car.

Finally something that is simple and helps me out alot. I understand where everyone else is coming from but i dont want to much just enough to cut the job. Thanks again Boosted did you tune it your self?

What didn't you like about it? I think this is the first time I've ever heard the phrase "I didn't like it" associated with an AFPR.

Yea I tuned myself but I have a JMF intake on the way so im gonna get it dyno tuned after that....and as for the afpr i didnt know much about it and I didnt have a guage and the car seam to not spudder after i took it off. I wrolly didnt know how to tune it right but im perfectly fine w/o it and my local shop (Abel Racing) said its a waist of money. So I sold it

How in the world is a fpr a waste of money unless it was some piece of junk. I had at one time a walbro 255, mbc,and afpr...thats it all stock. The afpr made a big difference.

i think your setup will work out ok, as far as the greddy fmic it will work well. A friend of mine ran an 11.6 w/ a 60 trim T3/T4 using the same greddy fmic. consider dsmlink down the line though.

Ya, that is like saying "Pfff, forget about installing a boost guage-I can just listen to the turbo to find out what boost I am running at, and shout at it when I want to raise the boost".
