I just ordered one Link and some braided clutch lines from Extreme PSI. The turbo eclipse clutches work on N/A Spyders before you say anything I researched. Anyway if you go to that link you can see the one I got which is the ACT Heavy Duty 2100 Street Clutch. Which is known to be good for spyders for some reason. But Its going in tomorrow. Has anyone got to drive an eclipse with one in and hows it feel before and after break in?

I had the 2100 with street disc on my FWD. It feels very similar to the stock clutch (a tiny bit stiffer) and it's easy to use in stop and go traffic. It's a good clutch for modest power levels. It's been awhile since I had it but from what I recall there was no difference in the feel of it after the break in period. I did notice a bit more chatter with it compared to the stocker but not enough to be an issue.

i'm not sure what you mean by feeling a difference in torque. i don't think you gain any ft-lbs by installing a high performance clutch. i've been running a 2100 for the past year. it's very easy on the foot, but very reliable.

If your other clutch was slipping at all, you may feel a slight difference depending on how bad it was. But the only thing you are really getting is some more clamping power, which usually comes with a slightly heavier feel. I had a 2100 on my TSI AWD, and it was not that heavy; very street friendly. I ended up changing it out to a 2600 for my needs though.

So its not any different from OEM them? I was told it was. Im not taking this to the track or anything so thats why I didnt get the 2600
