hey guys I was wondering if hollowell crate motor 12.5 engine would be able to hold low boost around 6 psi at least. Anyone that knows??? and what do u think of the price on it?

12.5? I'm guessing thats compression. If your thinking of throwing boost over 12.5:1.... bad idea. Higher compression is not meant for boost. You want to lower your compression when you turbo. I believe we are 9.6:1 stock, so your going to want to go lower than that. A crate motor is just a quick (expensive) way to rebuild. You could get new pistons, rings, rods, bearings, and seals for under $1200.
