How would you diagnose a missfire at 4K Rpm with ECMLink?

Good evening,

I finished my clutch work today on the 1G, and when I took it for a drive on the neighboorhood, I could not rev past 4K, no matter if wot, 50% pedal, or slightly pressed, it would not pass 4K with noise like missfiring. Spark plugs are brand new, installed with the clutch work. so perhaps a boost leak?

Anyway, how would you approach this knowing the car has ECMlink? Can it help?

Check all the wiring and everything you disconnected for the clutch job (NLTS?), then post a log in the ECMlink Tuning & Log File Advice forum if you don't find the problem.

NLTS= No lift to shift. Did you install ECMLink's launch control feature when you did the clutch work?

I don't think so. Can you explain me briefly it's behaviour?

If you installed ecmlink yourself then you would have had the option install the wire to your clutch pedal for nlts. If you wanted to.

Since you dont know what it is im assuming its not there. And possibly you may have activated it via laptop on accident.

I dont have my laptop in front of me (I havent hooked nlts up on my current car and has been 8years since I did my last one.) but that setting is in one of the tabs. Just make sure its not checked.

Hmmmm I read about it, and it was a pending thing, but I didn't enabled it. So, what values should I look to then?

Can you post a log? It will be a lot easier to see what the car is doing

Hi, I did g get into high rpm but only on speed, I am not able to rev stopped. When doing wot, I got cel on high rpm.

I also got my o2 reading dancing all the time from 0.02 to 1 volt.

Might it be some kind of ecmlink feature? I think I read somewhere about rev limit, valet mode, and more. Do you know what I mean?

If you post a log we can look at all the rev limiters and such and make sure you didnt set one without intending to.
The o2 is supposed to cycle up and down, so that's normal

If you rule out NLTS, fuel cut or ignition cut. There is another possibility that i can think of.

Have seen someone with a very similar issue and it ended up being there downpipe flex section crushed on itself. It wasn't even possible to tell without looking inside of it. The exhaust size shrank down to a nickle size and prevented the engine from reving.
