1G How To Remove the charcoal canister

This was done on a 1990 Eclipse GSX.

First off remove the battery tray (red arrows show where they are) 12mm

Ok now that you have that off you can see the charcoal canister the red line is (to tank) the blue line is (to a/c) the middle one is blocked off (to carb)
Remove the (to tank) and (to a/c) lines from the canister. Remove the charcoal canister.

Now you should have the (to tank) line still there (again in red) remove the whole line to where I have it circled in red. The red arrow is to remove the bracket that holds the charcoal canister remove that also. 12mm

Now you need to block off that line you just pulled the (to tank) line from. I used this circled in red

I didn’t trust them crappy clamps that where on it so I used a better one. Make sure it will not come off! this is what it should look like..

That’s it your done. put your tray back together.

I hope this might help some one I have never seen a pictured how to on this so I made one.
