Ok i just removed my wing, and the little foam gasket that goes around the base, part of it is stuck to the car. what can i use to remove it that wont damage the paint. i was thinking lighter fluid, but im not sure if that will damage the paint. what can i use??

in body shop, we use a plastic razor blade and trim adhesive remover

ok i decided to try lighter fluid and it worked fine. no damage to paint whatsoever :thumb:

I've found that Denatured Alcohol works best for things like that, and has many other uses. I've used it to get rid of bug guts, tar, and oil/grease (messy hands from working on my white car) from my paint.
