i know obviously you just have to take off the bolts that hold it on, but mine are stuck on soooo tight that it just won't come off and i don't wanna break anything by pulling too much. is there an easier way to loosen those bolts up?

Have you tried using heat? It should loosen them up enough to remove them.

^^^Good call. Try taking them off after you just drove the car. Or:

PB blaster and a long breaker bar

Impact wrench :)

Heat them up. Then use a wrench and grab a bar that will fit the wrench as an extra leverage. Thats how i was able to get them off. Mine were a pain the @$$.

Hope it was helpful

if driving doesnt work enough, yeah, breaker bar or wrench will work and if you have a torch, itll work also, that is how i get my bolts off that been rusted on there. drive it for a while and then try it. take a big breaker pipe and put it over the wrench and pull that damn thing. bolts like that drive me insane.

dude I just went trough the same thing trying to change my o2 housing I broke a wrench in the process and a extencion from my wrench set they are a pain what I did and it seemed to work was putt a lot of wd 40 on it and let it sit there over night and the next morning with the cool temperature they came out so easily, and I guess is due to the fact when things are hot they expand and when they are cold they contract, but see what works for u bro either way you do it is a pain in the @$$ when I finished mine I had scratches everywhere so good luck. :thumb: hope this helps

bolts are the worst thing in the world. i broke a wrench the other day changing my girlfriends calipers. the brake fluid line bolt on the back of the caliper was put on by a power tool and i broke the wrench and socket trying to get it off. it pissed me off so bad. it took a strong arm wrench, ext. and socket to get it off.
