Hey, I was wondering if anyone had some tips on porting my 2g o2 sensor housing and exhaust manifold. How much do I take off? What exactly do I port on the two? Is it just better to swap for 1g items? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank goodness you told me that! Thanks for the info and the posts you've posted, haha its good to know someones looking after me that has some experience with these DSMs.

Make sure you get yourself a nice adjustable die grinder and some nice bits, I use one double-cut and one single-cut. Really take your time with the O2 housing and concentrate on the smaller runner and where it re-enters the larger runner. You can even take a small portion of that out to open up the hole, but it's kind of tricky if this is your first time porting. When you are done, get yourself some paddle sanding wheels and smooth everything out to your liking.

just take your time, go slow and be patient.
As for swapping for 1G parts, the only part you would want to swap would be the throttle body as the 1G is a larger one.

Don't forget the 1g head and turbo are also upgrades for a 2g
